$av€ the Planet was a common initiative of young people from Poland, Romania, and Hungary. The constantly rising inflation caused us to face economic problems and look for various ways to reduce high expenses. However, concern for our planet, which is still being polluted, has been pushed aside (these activities have become more intense recently). Therefore, our project was not only a response to our needs and interests but also an opportunity to become a responsible person who takes care of his surroundings and place to live, while maintaining an economic approach in the era of inflation. The aim of the common initiative was: - expanding knowledge and raising awareness of the negative effects of planet pollution (impact on the natural environment, climate, but also on us - humans); - expanding and developing competencies in the fields of ecology, environmental protection, and climate change; - developing ecological skills, habits, and attitudes that will allow us to properly care for the natural environment while maintaining economic balance in the context of rising inflation; - expanding knowledge and raising awareness of the use of renewable energy sources; using ecological transport; various forms of saving energy or water that are necessary for everyday functioning; various forms of reducing the waste of food and other raw materials; - exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of ecological and economic care for the environment, as well as the development of creativity and innovation when introducing appropriate activities that will not only take care of the planet but also the household budget;
