As FRSP, we are aware of how vulnerable are the youth of today as a result of the economic crisis that started in the second part of the previous decade. Taking into account the youth unemployment rates statistics, which in the European Union averaged 19.46 percent from 2000 until 2023, in the countries outside the EU, the situation is even worse, taking also into consideration the war situation that has been going on in Ukraine. All of the partner organizations and FRSP could recognize the need to foster entrepreneurship in young people (18-30) from the countries such nations as Albania (youth unemployment rate 27,79), Ukraine (21,1), Georgia (23,4%), and Czech Republic (7,08%) and Poland (8,71%) according to the 2022. Youth living in those countries face difficulties in finding a good job. They are forced to do jobs they do not want to, move abroad and leave their family or they stay unemployed living with parents and enjoying social media platforms or binge watching Netflix. On the contrary, Poland and the Czech Republic are going very well. There are plenty of job opportunities in both countries but the process we could see that is most satisfying is increasing entrepreneurship among youth. There are more and more companies that are being set up by young adults (20-30 yo). So, the selection of partners was not random and by carrying out such a project we wanted to give good practice to the youth from those countries as our foundation is placed and works in the Silesian region. This region is where the economy combines old traditions that still continue with the most modern technological advances. Nowadays, there are over 403 000 enterprises in the region, two special economic zones, and a lot of investments being implemented. Entrepreneurship is an important driver of economic growth and job creation. Entrepreneurship, like so many other areas, requires a long-term approach and a strong belief in young people's capability. We believe that it is necessary to support young people and develop in them an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. This involves initiative, measured risk-taking, creativity, public speaking and organizational skills. This will enable them to reach their full potential and effectively enter today’s workforce. With an emphasis on social entrepreneurship, the goal aimed to encourage young entrepreneurs to put their amazing ideas into start-ups. The project's idea came up by FRSP foundation's local volunteers who, being intrigued and interested in such topics as social media, entrepreneurship and start-ups, decided to create and work out a common YE.
