Objectives

The project titled “The job of the dream - so much you can win!” was developed by young people from Poland and Croatia, who asked our organization to help them carry out the activities they had planned and apply for the Erasmus+ Youth Program. The aim of the young people was to increase their linguistic, cultural, social competencies by focusing on the main theme of the mobility - issues related to young Europeans' search for their place on the professional map, building a career path and consciously navigating the labor market. Through mobility, the young people also developed activities focusing on building motivation for learning and work. Through the project, participants wanted to become more open to another person with a different culture, which they also succeeded in doing. Young people exchanged views, experiences, learned to organize and manage their time on their own. It should also not be forgotten that the project gave the opportunity to establish cooperation between previously uncooperative organizations: Zawierciańskie Forum Pracodawców from Poland and Mladi za Marof from Croatia. Partner organizations exchanged their experience in working with young people, learned how to better implement projects under the Erasmus+ Program and proved themselves in the roles of host and sending organizations. In implementing the project, the aim was to provide participants with a chance to establish an international dialogue on life in modern Europe, European values. The young people were able to learn about the professional desires of their Polish and Croatian peers, learned what the labor market looks like in the participating countries. To sum up. The overarching goals of the project with regard to the participants were: - increase their knowledge and skills in navigating the labor market, building an informed career path; - to increase their motivation for education and work, and to strive for lifelong learning; - to increase knowledge of the opportunities and threats of the Polish, Croatian and European labor markets; - learning about the culture, traditions, customs of the participating countries and strengthening attitudes of tolerance, openness; - Developing linguistic competence, with particular emphasis on English, basic Polish and Croatian; - To develop interpersonal competence, presentation and self-presentation skills, the ability to work in an international team; - Strengthened sense of agency in local and European society and opportunities in the international labor market.
