As a result of the youth exchange, the participants developed skills useful both in their professional and private lives (e.g., working in an international group, recognizing and respecting different beliefs and attitudes, formulating their opinions in a cultural and non-aggressive manner, speaking in front of a group, etc.). By experiencing non-formal education in practice, their interest in this area and using its methods for their further development in the future increased. Their motivation to participate in other educational activities (including other international projects) and to step out of their comfort zone also grew. Their courage to collaborate with new, previously unknown people increased. Thanks to the planned activities, their level of tolerance towards other cultures and religions increased, as did their openness to diversity and curiosity about the world. Their intercultural awareness also grew. They became more aware of common European values, which increased their sense of belonging to the European community. By getting to know other volunteers and their activities, they became more motivated to continue their volunteer work. Through active involvement in planning the exchange they participated in, their sense of influence and belief in their own abilities increased. This was another important step towards consciously directing their lives and taking new initiatives. Because the project lasted 8 months and its activities were not limited to the youth exchange, participants had the opportunity to form lasting friendships. The project had a significant impact on the applicant organization. Since it had experience in international cooperation, it allowed the organization to gain new experiences and build its potential in this area. As a result, the organization gained greater credibility in its local environment and developed the international component of its activities. Cooperation with more experienced organizations allowed for the acquisition of interesting and valuable experiences that could be used in the organization's future activities. All partner organizations gained new experience in supporting their volunteers in developing their own ideas for international activities.
