Participation in the project allowed us to counteract problems related to understanding ourselves, our own feelings and emotions that negatively affect the interpersonal relationships we create or functioning in society. During the youth exchange, we also took care of what seemed to us to be an impossible-to-eliminate sense of loss from the last 2 years (the period since the beginning of the pandemic), caused by the lack of interaction with peers, which significantly contributed to our withdrawal and problems with finding our own identity. During the project, we managed to deal with the effects of social isolation, disruption of the rhythm of life and concerns about family income and health. We also confronted the grim statistics on suicides among young people, which are one of the five most frequently recognized causes of death in young people. During the youth exchange, we took part in many artistic activities thanks to which we could express ourselves and thus find inner peace. During the youth exchange, we drew attention to the importance of mental health in everyday functioning in the world, we gained practical knowledge on the use of art - drawing, painting, writing, acting, photography, film, music and dance; in the process of finding our own identity and self-acceptance and we understood the influence of the past on the present and future. The youth exchange “Human Art from Heart” responded to our need to take care of our own future, paid special attention to the state of our mental health and allowed us to deepen our knowledge in relation to topics related to it. An achievement that went beyond initial expectations was participation in an extremely extensive integration session in which we took part on the paintball field. This activity helped us to incredibly consolidate our international team and prepare us for the challenges that faced us in the following days of the youth exchange. It is thanks to the excellent integration that we were able to achieve such excellent results and outcomes during the youth exchange.
