The project aimed to bring together three key elements to achieve a more just, supportive and sustainable world: including young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, raising awareness of current social issues, and promoting participatory arts among young people as a tool for group cohesion and personal development. Through art, in this particular case through participatory art methodology, important skills were acquired such as teamwork, empathy, autonomy, promoting personal artistic expression and greater knowledge of the environment around us. We invited young people at risk of social exclusion for various reasons to participate in the project, including: because they live in the countryside and do not participate in the cultural life that the city offers; because they come from families where parents are unemployed, rarely abuse alcohol, and are not interested in the development of their children; because they are people with various degrees of disability; because due to their poor knowledge of English, they do not even try to exist in the international space, they do not feel European. Thanks to their participation in the project, they opened up to new opportunities, met peers from other countries, and heard about the problems they face on a daily basis. In addition, we wanted to draw young people's attention to climate problems, environmental pollution, discrimination suffered by particular social groups, racism and migration (here also in the context of refugees - Ukraine). These are very important issues that many young people do not understand at all, but which affect them.
