Objectives

The main goal of the project was youth exchange, their resilience, and above all, making them aware that the concept of Europe has become more tangible and achievable. Project activities influenced the youth's ability to adapt to new situations with newly met peers from another country. Young people became more open to changes and had the opportunity to learn how to deal with stress, which cannot be completely eliminated from life. An important element of the project were cultural, artistic and integration workshops, learning about the culture, tradition and history of the partners, which was based on forms of non-formal education. The project encouraged active cultural dialogue among young people with fewer opportunities. Young people were involved in the implementation of the project. The time spent together was filled with activities based on forms of non-formal education, which resulted in establishing contacts and friendships between youth participants and partner organizations. The knowledge acquired by youth participants is still promoted and passed on to the community in the youth's immediate environment: family, school, center and the local community. Through project activities, we achieved the goals: building intercultural dialogue - by learning about the culture, history and traditions of the partner, learning tolerance and openness by building friendly relations between young people from Poland and Slovakia, activating young people with fewer opportunities. The implementation of the main objectives contributed to the fulfillment of specific objectives: promoting cultural diversity, establishing contacts, increasing the level of key competences and skills, including knowledge of foreign languages, increasing soft skills, developing good practices in the use of various forms of education. This goal was achieved through numerous activities together with the partner group, where workshops showed social and cultural differences. The workshops and numerous talks showed how much the participants had in common, how similar our culture, language and history were. An additional goal was for caregivers to work together during the workshops. The supervisors had a great opportunity to compare education and work methods with the above-mentioned people in European countries. The involvement of all participants contributed to an empathetic and pleasant atmosphere, thanks to which the goals set when writing the application were achieved. Participants acquired the ability to look at the world around them, learned to cooperate with each other and with colleagues from another country, including patience, tolerance and understanding of different approaches to problems and ways of solving them. There was an increase in language competences through participation in language animation exercises - they learned polite phrases and sayings expressed in their native languages. Young people improved their self-esteem and increased their self-confidence and self-esteem. Acquaintances were made and relationships with people from another country improved. The participants held discussions about the labor market in their countries, which led to an increase in the level of knowledge regarding work opportunities in another country and professional mobility. Young people learned about the traditions, culture and history of nations throughout history. The meeting provided insight into the environment and specificity of the region, and the participants discussed family values related to the European cultural values of the local community of nations. The project contributed to strengthening my self-esteem and improving my skills, knowledge and language. Participants share their experiences in family environments, promote the ideas of foreign exchanges, cooperation and tolerance for other attitudes and views. In the communities where they come from, they have shown and continue to show what an interesting event they were participants of. Thanks to the program, young people paved the way for establishing foreign contacts. The above goals were achieved by actively spending time together. The knowledge acquired by youth participants is promoted and transferred to the community from the youth's immediate environment: family, school, center and the local community.
