Through the opportunity to implement this project, we aim to increase the civic engagement of young people and raise awareness about the importance of participation in civil society of young adults from 8 European countries. We want to develop their need for initiative and contribute to combating the apathy towards politics present in our communities. The importance of encouraging young people's participation in the democratic life of Europe, developing young people's capacity to participate actively in society is underlined in the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, directly expressed in the main objectives of the EU Youth Strategy and in the Priorities and objectives section of the Erasmus+ programme, which recommends focusing on this problem through non-formal learning activities. Participants will learn about the dangers of young people's indifference to public affairs. EU policies that support youth civic engagement and opportunities for young people to participate in civic life. Gain knowledge about specific actions and initiatives to support Civic engagement that they can implement in their community among their peers. Interest in politics, content, and political events will be heightened, and they will be able to transfer this effect to their peers. The implementation of the acquired theoretical knowledge will begin during an Open Discussion with local youth, where participants will have the opportunity to personally motivate young people to actively participate. The experience gained by the participants during this meeting is crucial for building and strengthening their capacity to disseminate the acquired attitudes when they return to their region. Young people will be better able to cope with the different cultures they will encounter in their lives. After taking part in the Youth Exchange, participants will stay in touch. In particular, it will be online communication on social media, which is to be carried out by the young people themselves. This gives them the opportunity to constantly exchange new experiences and develop. This project will also be important for the Ornament Foundation, because we regularly organize initiatives to empower young people, we believe that we will gain a lot of inspiration and skills that will enable us to start new activities using non-formal education. Through this project, we want to: - initiate public discussions on youth indifference, low civic engagement and lack of trust in political representatives; - provide local youth with qualitative and social leisure opportunities through international experiences that will improve their soft skills; - engage and cooperate with local youth in social activities; - encourage young people to take up activities related to this project in their community and provide them with the knowledge and skills to do so. The project will also strengthen cooperation between NGOs, student organisations and self-governments in the partner countries. It will be important to develop a network of partner organisations working with young people, which will in the future become the basis for Youth Civic Engagement projects, in particular under the Erasmus+ programme; For the participants, the project will allow for - to increase their awareness of issues related to the indifference of young people to public affairs, - to develop participants' knowledge of current EU policies and initiatives supporting youth civic engagement, - to Provide participants with ideas and suggestions on how they can participate in civil society and foster civic engagement among their peers by sharing experiences and best practices from the regions of the partner organizations, - Broadening the participants' knowledge about the work of student or municipal youth councils and political youth organizations, - to Increase participants' interest in political content and their involvement in political initiatives and events, highlighting the importance of such involvement, We are done with the protocol from partner sides, I am really glad. Thank you for your contribution and help. I have almost done first part so we are pretty advanced.. We just need attachments and timesheets, and that`s it.
