Therefore, through the youth exchange, "Everyone Welcome," we aimed to inspire and offer an opportunity for marginalized youth and those on the verge of social exclusion to explore and experience non-formal education. The goal was to take a step toward developing their competencies and enabling them to participate meaningfully in civil society. The uniqueness of our project lay in addressing contemporary societal issues such as military conflicts, migrant issues, social exclusion, gender equality, and marginalization. We conducted open dialogues to understand how this information is perceived in different countries, considering diverse experiences, practices, and viewpoints. Participants and participating countries discussed, shared, and attempted to find common understanding and solutions to contribute to shaping an inclusive society where no one is left behind, ensuring equal access and opportunities for active citizenship in the community and society. The purpose of the youth exchange was to provide young people from various backgrounds with the chance to experience, learn about, and engage in various non-formal educational activities. This aimed to empower them to be more active in civil society, encouraging the development of various skills and aptitudes needed for their personal and professional growth. The goals and objectives outlined for this project: Raising awareness and promoting European values: The aim of the project was to increase young people's awareness of European values, which may include principles such as democracy, human rights and cultural diversity. In this way, we tried to encourage active citizenship and sensitize young people to global challenges. The aim was to build a sense of responsibility and involvement among young participants in both local and global matters. Empowering youth and developing soft skills: One of the main goals was to empower young people, regardless of their background, by helping them develop the necessary soft skills. These skills included effective communication, teamwork, creativity and public speaking. The project recognized the importance of these skills in personal development and preparing young people for active participation in society. Providing knowledge and tools: The aim of the project was to equip young participants with knowledge and tools related to creative thinking, public speaking and teamwork through non-formal education (NFE) methods. This approach suggested a focus on experiential learning and the development of practical skills. Promote solidarity, empathy and tolerance: The aim of the project was to promote values such as solidarity, empathy and tolerance among young people. This was intended to create an environment in which participants could better understand and appreciate the perspectives and experiences of others, especially those from different cultural backgrounds. This fostered a sense of unity and inclusiveness. Encouraging active participation and volunteering: The aim of the project was to enable young people to actively participate in youth projects and engage in voluntary activities. This aim was to encourage young people to play an active role in their communities and contribute to the development of their own skills and personal development. Facilitating intercultural dialogue: The aim of the project was to create a space for intercultural dialogue, knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas. Highlight the importance of supporting understanding and cooperation between young people from different countries and backgrounds. This promoted a sense of global citizenship and cooperation. In summary, the project aimed to achieve a number of results related to the personal and social development of young participants. These results included an increased awareness of European values and global challenges, improved soft skills, greater cultural understanding and an increased sense of empowerment and active citizenship. Ultimately, the project prepared young people to be more engaged and capable individuals in their communities and around the world.
