Objectives

By implementing the project we wanted to improve the media literacy of our participants, especially those who have fewer opportunities. To do this, they will be made more aware of the positive and negative sides of mass media, sensitized to fake news strategies and targeted media propaganda, and equipped with digital skills and knowledge so that they can correctly identify, use and disseminate information from mass media and social media and free themselves from their negative influence. The proposed objectives were: -To promote the sense of civic responsibility, social inclusion and tolerance towards people with fewer opportunities, minorities, LGBTQ+, migrants and refugees, by presenting news on media channels that enforce the European values; - To empower participants for planning social media campaign for further increasing participation of young people for advocacy on social rights for equal opportunities and inclusion; - Creation of an information culture that goes against fake news or false myths; - Elimination of the stereotypes beyond the social label; - Attitude to critical and participatory thinking (knowing not only to see but also to give context and interpret the reality that surrounds us); - Attitude to tolerance and understanding of new cultures; - Propensity for active citizenship and active participation in local communities; - To increase participants’ knowledge of Erasmus+ Programme and its Key Actions raise awareness of young people on the importance of analyzing mass and social media messages;
