The project Contact Making Event and project development activity "From Balkans to Baltics" was a great opportunity for participating organizations and their professionals to take a broader look at psychosocial work with young people in Southeastern Europe and the Baltic States and to build sustainable partnerships between these regions in order to develop youth mobility projects under the Erasmus+ program. The overall goal of the activity was to support organizations in building a trusted network for future strategic partnerships in the field of youth projects. Objectives included: Exploring the youth mental health work realities and discovering the similarities and differences of youth work with other participating countries. Studying the quality aspects of youth work within the framework of Erasmus+. Exploring the youth development tools offered by the new program (mobilities, new project types, support systems, etc.). Increasing the number of young people with fewer opportunities in Youth mobilities projects within the Erasmus+ program. Creating an atmosphere of common understanding between people representing different cultures, working styles, etc. Sharing best practices in youth work, as well as building international partnerships, project management, using non-formal education tools, and ways to improve the quality of youth work. Increasing youth workers' competence in youth, in complex project management, in inspiring, motivating, and activating young people, taking into account the multicultural environment and the rapidly changing needs of EU societies. Promoting Erasmus+, its initiatives, and non-formal education by improving knowledge about them and learning best practices for their use.
