By Implementing this project we aimed to achieve several key objectives, all centered around enhancing the support and development of young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) through effective coaching techniques. The primary objectives were: -To deepen the understanding among youth workers and leaders about Autism Spectrum Disorders. This includes recognizing the diverse needs, strengths, and challenges faced by individuals with ASD. -To develop and improve the coaching skills of youth workers and leaders, making them more effective in supporting young people with ASD. This involves learning specific techniques and approaches tailored to the unique requirements of these individuals. -To adapt existing coaching tools and techniques to be more applicable and effective in the context of ASD. This includes modifying approaches to suit the learning styles and social communication differences often seen in individuals with ASD. -To empower youth workers and leaders by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge, enabling them to provide better support and foster the development of young people with ASD. -To establish and strengthen networks and communities of practice, both locally and internationally, which can share knowledge, resources, and support concerning youth with ASD. -To provide opportunities for practical application of learned skills in real-life settings, ensuring that theoretical knowledge is translated into effective practice. -To raise awareness about ASD and promote inclusive practices within youth work, thereby creating more accepting and supportive environments for young people with ASD. -To train participants who can act as multipliers in their communities and organizations, spreading the knowledge and skills gained and thus amplifying the project's impact.
