The aim of the project was primarily to activate 80 young people aged 15-25 from the Łódzkie Voivodeship, so that they could have a real impact on shaping educational policy in the development of digital competences. The project aimed not only to increase young people's digital knowledge and skills - e.g. in recognising and verifying fake news, using social media (including personal branding) and data protection - but also to raise public awareness of the dangers of cybercrime and disinformation. The project planned to run a series of workshops to prepare participants for debates with decision-makers. In this way, young people were to have the chance not only to acquire new competences, but also to become actively involved in civic life by developing common solutions and recommendations that would be included in the developed handbook for local authorities. The realisation of this objective was also intended to strengthen the capacity of the applicant organisation and strengthen cooperation between the association and the local community, with the modifications and conclusions of the experts being taken into account in the further development of the planned activities.
