Through the implementation of our project, we wanted to increase the interest and involvement of young people in public affairs at the local level. Our goals, both assumed and achieved, were: 1. Raising knowledge in the area of creating and functioning of Youth City/Municipality Councils 2. Establishing 2 Youth City/Municipality Councils 3. Developing documentation for Youth City/Municipality Councils: regulations and statutes 4. Developing and adopting the MRG action plan 5. Increasing the awareness of young people in the area of creating local law 6. Increasing the influence of young people in the activities carried out by municipalities 7. Increasing the importance of young people in creating the municipalities' offer addressed to them 8. Production of a video documenting project events. Through the implementation of our project, we engaged young people in democracy and social life by promoting and supporting youth organisations, informal youth groups and MRM/G, - we connected young people and youth councillors and other interested parties and demonstrated the benefits of active citizenship, - we supported young people by increasing their training and interpersonal skills and helped them implement their own initiatives, - we increased the competences of guardians in supporting cooperation between school self-governments and youth city/municipal councils.
