The goal of the E-MRM – Support System for Youth Councils project was to create a sustainable and accessible environment that fosters the development, professionalization, and civic engagement of youth councils. We aimed to provide youth councils across Poland with easier access to knowledge, tools, and expert support to help them function more effectively, undertake independent initiatives, and better integrate into their social environment. The specific objectives of the project included: increasing public awareness of the role and importance of youth councils in local communities; organizing and streamlining the work of youth councils through the implementation of digital tools (the e-mrm.pl portal); strengthening the civic and social competences of youth council members through a dedicated educational offer; creating a space for cooperation, experience-sharing, and mutual support among councils; promoting good practices and youth participation in public life. The project responded to the real needs of young people, which we identified during previous activities and consultations. It also served as a continuation and expansion of the Foundation’s long-standing efforts to support youth civic engagement.
