Objectives

Our project emerged from observing the lack of practical activities and non-formal education in Polish schools, as well as the low level of civic engagement among young people. Our primary goal was to raise awareness among youth about youth policy and various forms of social activism. We also aimed to educate peers about how politics works at the local, national, and international levels, and how they can get involved, showing that every young person has a voice and can influence decisions that affect their future. Next, we sought to develop leadership skills among young people, such as project management, debating, negotiation, and public speaking—practical workshops and training were designed to equip participants with the tools needed for effective community action. In our efforts, we also aimed to promote democratic values such as equality, justice, tolerance, and respect for human rights. We wanted to strengthen the sense of civic responsibility among young people. Project Goals: Increase knowledge in areas such as entrepreneurship, social economy, project management, etc. Develop entrepreneurial attitudes among participants. Create an online platform to promote the activities of project participants. Conduct workshops in educational institutions on supporting youth initiatives. Implement at least 10 social initiatives by participants. Ensure active participation of youth at every stage of the project. Engage at least 10 decision-makers in dialogue with youth. The cycle of training, workshops, and practical activities created in the project aimed to promote youth policy, activism, and non-formal education, focusing on developing practical and social skills outside the traditional education system. Its program provided young people with the opportunity to express their views and engage in dialogue with decision-makers on youth policy, giving them a chance to actively participate in shaping policies that directly affect them. The project’s objective was also related to providing practical information about youth policy in Poland. This knowledge was conveyed through a series of workshops, lectures, and discussion sessions led by experts from various fields. The practical workshops we conducted allowed participants to develop skills necessary for activist activities and improving local community life. As a result, the young people who participated in the project could create and implement local projects and initiatives that not only developed their organizational and leadership skills but also had a real impact on their community, promoting civic and social engagement. The direct target group was young people aged 18 to 30, who participated in designing, implementing their own initiatives, and benefited from workshops and training.
