Through this project we were focusing on the training of young artists, who would like to develop their practices and become able to work with young participants, in interactive and creative ways, involving also those with fewer opportunities. By sharing with the participants Interactive Theater and Arts approaches and supporting the creation and testing of their own Interactive Art Actions the participants gained new skills, what we aimed for. As a goal we also wished that the experience of the training and the designed interactive Art Actions will help to strengthen the position of the selected participants as entrepreneurs. These experiences helped them to strengthen their positions as entrepreneurs on the labor market. As a partnership we aimed to work out an innovative Training Programme with the possibility of multiplying it in different EU countries. Furthermore we worked out a Curricula programme, which as a written material can be shared with young artists across Europe. The goal of the project was also to get inspired by each other's work among the key staff of the partnership, which can help to form new project ideas and enrich their organizations experience.
The staff involved in the project have many years of experience with youth – which has shown that young artists need support to find their authentic ways of expression, and to develop strategies of resilience through artistic projects. Partners all recognised the need of supporting young creators’ professional opportunities by offering them valuable training courses, where they can not only meet and experience theatre tools, which are not part of the theatre studies’ curricula, but can adapt the working tools for themselves. Already familiar with each others’ key work, partners wanted to develop an authentic Training Programme for young artists to better involve them in creative work, supporting their self-development, expression and initiatives for their communities. The partners of this project claimed a strong need to strengthen their positions on the international level, beyond the work they do on the national level. STOP-KLATKA has experience in international projects as a partner, but has never coordinated any Erasmus+ project before. The project was a good opportunity for APS ProPositivo and ANGA to discover Erasmus+ projects.
