Objectives

"Why can't we live together?" Yes, why? What more is needed to realize that the path being followed by humanity is not, far from it, the best path to a healthy coexistence? This is what we reflected and worked on during our training course. And based on this that a portfolio of artistic creations was produced that elucidate the causes and consequences that illustrate, in a way that we tried to be clear and immediate, what we did to reach collective suicide, the genocide of the human being. And it is not only because of war that human beings are run over, it is also because of the total lack of interest in the environment, in the hellish exploitation of the poor and the less prepared. It also goes through a society increasingly commanded by economic liberalism and by oligarchies/autocracies thirsty for money and power. The name of the project is "Why can't we live together? A chance for peace and understanding through art". The reason we applied for this work intention is based on the idea that it is never too much to expose humanity to human beings. We must not allow "quiet consciences" and "I didn't know...". There is a great need to wake up those who are asleep and to motivate those who care. Art is a sharp tool and through words, color, images or sound, much can be done. With this need to strengthen the critical spirit and to disseminate reasons to change attitudes and practices, we intended with this project of ours: - Reflect on what is happening and how it can no longer be so; - Produce content and materials that can provide participants and their associations/entities with tools that can help them in their daily work with young people and their communities; - Using art as a vehicle for change; - Make use of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Program and enable meetings between participants from such distant and different countries; - Strengthen the importance of non-formal education, because only using its methodologies can we achieve objectives that support the common good.
