Participants have also had the chance to find out more about the politics and governance of the other participating countries and have found the diverse approaches of Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Romania interesting and complex. Participants also had the chance to realize that, on the media which they are consuming there is a lot of misinformation or fake news related to the EU and politics in general, and some of them, have been surprised by the data of the official websites and trusted sources of the EU regarding the factual data which had not been familiar to them previous to the participation. The flash mob activity had helped the participants in taking initiative outside of the simulation and activities which had a topic related to politics in which they were involved. They have created the flash mob and have been enthusiast to share what they found out during the Youth Exchange with members of the local community of Vatra Dornei who were present in the central park. The participants have created an activity which attracted attention and involved the locals which helped after in the dissemination to the local community of the information about the EU, Erasmus+, the activities of DEMOCRACY, and where to access official information about the EU and generally trusted information sources in order to combat misinformation and fake news. Where translation had been necessary the facilitators and Romanian participants had helped disseminate the information.
