“IMPROxCHANGE” was a youth exchange, implemented in Godinesti, Romania, created by the youth from 4 partner organisations: ASK Yourself – Romania, Young Wave- Poland, Inspira- Portugal and Onde- Italy. The project started from our belief that improvisation theatre can help young people to communicate better and to gain more self-confidence. We wanted to help more youth to trust themselves, to care less about what other people think, to express themselves freely and to be able to respond to life challenges. The aim of our projec wast: Developing the communication competences of 28 young people, by using improvisation theater methods. Our objectives: 1.Improve participants’ knowledge regarding different types of communication (verbal, non-verbal, paraverbal), tips and tricks for speaking in public and the benefits of improvisation theater. 2. Help participants discover and make use of minimum 5 improvisation theater methods that can help them improve their verbal, non-verbal and paraverbal communication. 3. Improve participants self-confidence while talking in front of a group, help them trust their instincts and their ideas, while carrying less about being judged by other people. Our project reached it’s aim and objectives and inspired the participants and the partner organizations to get involved in more E+ projects.
