The project aimed to address the social and democratic inclusion for the marginalized youth, particularly focusing on visually impaired youngsters (VIP), both within their own communities and within organizational contexts. The objectives of the project were carefully crafted based on the identified needs and challenges: 1. Enhancing VIP's Relationship with Decision Makers: Recognizing the lack of involvement of VIP in decision-making processes, the project aimed to establish a committee comprising five VIP individuals from each partner country. This committee served to bridge the gap between VIP communities and decision makers, facilitating monthly reports on accessibility and social inclusion issues to be presented to relevant authorities. 2. Creating Inclusive Communities: The project pursued to foster stronger and more inclusive communities by actively involving VIP individuals in decision-making processes. Through the development of networks between NGOs, public institutions, and local VIP communities, the project aimed to identify and address social inclusion and accessibility challenges through dedicated inclusive youth policies. 3. Empowering VIP Through Digital Skills: Recognizing the importance of digital literacy in today's society, the project aimed to equip five VIP individuals from each partner country with enhanced digital skills. Through specialized training, these individuals were prepared to become social influencers, advocating for inclusion, accessibility, and addressing common issues faced by the VIP community. 4. Empowering VIP Through Digital Skills: Recognizing the importance of digital literacy in today's society, the project aimed to equip five VIP individuals from each partner country with enhanced digital skills. Through specialized training, these individuals were prepared to become social influencers, advocating for inclusion, accessibility, and addressing common issues faced by the VIP community.
