The goal of the project was to conduct a consultative process within the EU Youth Dialogue at the national and local levels, with a focus on enabling the influence of youth opinions in shaping and improving youth policies across Europe. The consultation process began with the education and networking of local coordinators of the EU Youth Dialogue in five units of local self-government. These coordinators, along with young people, facilitated dialogues between youth and decision-makers. Through active participation in local dialogues, young people formulated recommendations to enhance the position of youth and local youth policies. The project aimed to empower key actors in local youth policy, such as High School Student Council, youth associations, and decision-makers, to implement the EU Youth Dialogue at the local level. The initiative focused on involving young people in decision-making processes and consultations with decision-makers at the local and national levels. Additionally, the goal was to educate youth representatives in the Youth Council of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, enabling them to monitor the implementation of recommendations received during the consultative phase. The project aimed to develop knowledge and skills among young people, promote critical thinking, and democratic values. It also sought to enhance the work of youth associations and decision-makers in the field of youth policy. All relevant stakeholders were informed about the EU Youth Dialogue and the achievements of local coordinators through realized dialogues in five units of local self-government.
