Objectives

By implementing the project we wanted to inspire and motivate young Europeans to further seek knowledge on current topics and issues within Europe and urge them to think critically about the issues at hand. To be open-minded and informed active citizens who have the power to change the course of the European future and do so fully consciously. We believe that non-formal education is a strong facilitator in making youth more engaged and interested in the reality that surrounds them. By giving them the floor to speak and express their own views and opinions - as well as giving them the opportunity to develop those - we hope to empower them to take action. This specific project had the theme of “No man is an island - Reducing isolation and increasing communication for a joint European future”. That theme was expressed in the different committee topics that all tackled topics under this umbrella from different perspectives and based on different issues; from ecology, through equal healthcare to well functioning transportation in the European Union.
