Young people often do not appreciate the valuables of the past. That's why we young people decided to revive some memories of the past, start changing our thinking and take over, preserve and spread what our ancestors left us. This helps to preserve the rich cultural and natural heritage of Europe. European cultural heritage is part of the identity of Europeans, so its preservation and transmission to younger generations is very important. Thus, throughout the entire project 'United WE stand – for OUR heritage', we promoted cultural identity and culture through the cultural heritage of the countries involved. With the project, we increased the interest of young people in their cultural heritage and gained ways to promote European cultural heritage so that young people can use it in the future as informal education. We awakened in young people a sense of responsibility towards European cultural and natural heritage, solving environmental problems, sustainable development and a sustainable way of life, while also debating concrete solutions regarding the issue of preserving European cultural heritage. The project was an opportunity for peer-to-peer, intergenerational and intercultural cooperation, to strengthen ties and cultural exchange, and to encourage and educate young people to play a more active role in their local communities, i.e. to play an active civic role.
