The project aimed to bring together young people - students and young adults - who are engaged in different performance genres and to raise different social issues through theatre. Theatre and community life allow us to address different issues in a relaxed and inclusive, safer space. Through the youth exchange, we wanted to give young people the opportunity to get to know different cultures, different ways of expressing themselves in a relaxed atmosphere and to strengthen their competences in the field of theatre making, as well as in the field of communication, expressing feelings, leading groups and imparting knowledge. The aim is that the practices that the young people have developed and learnt about in the project are also implemented in their local environments in their daily lives and artistic expressions. Through the exchange, which took place in unspoilt nature, we wanted to explore the possibility of creating in different, more uncontrolled environments. By creating and living in nature, we also addressed responsibility towards the environment and the link between culture and environment. We wanted to give young people new experiences and perspectives on creativity, opening the door to more professional involvement in the field of theatre, youth work and cultural and arts education. Through the international exchange we wanted to connect and improve our practices for further creative, pedagogical and youth work.
