The Low-Tech Camp aimed to empower the youth to learn about and actually create sustainable technologies that are easily replicable and address everyday needs of rural or urban communities, such as energy consumption or food provision. The diverse and inclusive nature of this camp broke down barriers and provided opportunities to those that lack them. The project provided the time, space and tools for experimentation, innovation and creative problem-solving that could spark entrepreneurial spirits and inspire vocational directions for participants.
