The DESK project, initiated by CVČ - RCM Košice in collaboration with Pfadfinderbund Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, was designed to foster professional development in youth work through international exchange. The primary objective was to learn from German youth work practices and explore their applicability in Slovak. By facilitating a study visit to Germany, the project aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of youth workers from Slovakia and Germany, fostering cross-cultural understanding and cooperation. The goals of the study visit were: - to visit multiple youth centres in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region - understand how youth work is financed in Germany - share innovative methods and good practices of youth work - discover possibilities for further cooperation
