What We Achieved by Implementing Our Project Our project was built on two phenomena with one main and one supporting element. The first was to raise awareness on issues such as zero waste, waste management, environmental awareness and climate change. The second was to develop the individual competencies of young people based on this awareness and to enable them to have a say in global issues. In this context, the activities carried out in our project and the goals we achieved in this process are as follows; - It was ensured that first young people and then their environment and our target audiences were informed about waste management, recycling, climate change and environmental awareness. - By drawing attention to the environmental factors that reveal the importance of the zero waste phenomenon, individuals and organizations were encouraged to to mobilize their sense of responsibility - Awareness has been raised on the practical application of the theoretical knowledge acquired on waste management and recycling and contributed to the establishment of processes. - The necessary support was provided to raise social awareness on the content, causes, consequences and management of solid, liquid and gaseous wastes that cause climate change. - Necessary scientific and statistical studies on the subject were carried out. - Different and remarkable studies on this subject have been supported. - It has been ensured that the young people in our project understand that they can reach an idea by coming together in order to create a collective consciousness. - The individual competencies of the young people in our project have been developed. - Young people were also supported to have an idea on global issues. - The young people in our project and our target groups were informed about the Erasmus Plus Program. - Our target groups were provided with information about the Erasmus Plus Program. - By obtaining a Youthpass Certificate, young people were provided with a document that can prove the competencies they have acquired in this process. - The meaning and importance of the Youthpass Certificate has been understood. - The 8 key competencies of Youthpass have been acquired by our participants. - Language development, communication and speaking skills of young people were strengthened. - Social skills of young people have been improved. Their participation in social life has been increased.
