Objectives

With our project "Keep Calm and Stop Mobbing!", which we implemented in Ordu between 14-18 August 2023, we aimed to improve self-esteem among young people, as well as to develop psychological self-protection skills. We also aimed young people to have an idea about mobbing and how to deal with this situation when they are exposed to mobbing and to develop sensitivity about respecting people of different nationalities. By including young people from different cultures in our project, we ensured that participants with fewer opportunities benefit from new opportunities, support intercultural communication, move away from prejudiced and discriminatory attitudes, learn new information about Erasmus Plus and Youthpass Certificate and gain self-confidence and support them in expressing themselves. In addition, starting with our participants in our project, we contributed to our target audience to gain awareness against mobbing and to take a more conscious step into working life. We raised awareness of our participants on how to protect themselves from mobbing, what to do in case of mobbing, how the legal process works in case they are subjected to mobbing and what they should do in the legal process. By contributing to raising awareness on mobbing, we have implemented our project to raise awareness of the society on this issue. As a result, our project has contributed to raising awareness of people both in Erasmus Plus project processes and in Mobbing practices and anti-mobbing issues. In addition, through our project we encouraged young people to engage in social responsibility activities related to mobbing. This is in line with the Erasmus Plus priority of voluntary activities. Through the activities carried out during our project, we ensured that young people were informed and raised awareness about mobbing. This is in line with the Erasmus Plus priority of raising awareness on global issues. Strengthening the personal development of the participants through environmental sustainability activities, digital competence activities, cultural activities and inclusion games we included in our project was in line with Erasmus Plus priorities. By enabling the participants to actively take part in group work, the Erasmus Plus priority of Creativity and culture was met. At the same time, the needs of our participants such as being informed about mobbing, learning statistics in their countries and all over the world, harmonizing in business life, being encouraged, developing socio-culturally, getting to know new cultures, broadening their perspectives, improving their self-expression skills, becoming more proficient in English were met thanks to the activities and activities throughout the project.
