Objectives

Ecotourism is a fairly new concept. However, this term was first used for a sustainable world and environment at the 1992 Rio Environment Summit. The term was intended to develop methods of exploiting the environment, without harming it, and for all indigenous peoples to benefit from tourism without destroying their culture. Over time, the concept and definition of "ecotourism" was adopted. In May 2002, the "World Ecotourism Summit" was held in Quebec, Canada, with the participation of 1100 delegates from 133 countries. A common definition adopted by the countries was determined and it was determined that ecotourism should be an approach that "assures the sustainability of the natural resources of the earth, as well as supports the economic development of local peoples, while preserving and observing their social and cultural integrity. The sentences we have entered above are an indication of how important the concept of ecotourism is for our world and our future. We wanted to realize this project exactly at this point. Our world is getting more and more under the influence of global warming every day. Nature is faced with a great destruction, especially with the cutting of trees, the increase in the use of fossil fuels and, moreover, the use of single-use plastics by people more and more every day. At this point, more ecological applications are needed. Since ecotourism is not fully known in our country, this type of tourism is far from being a preferred type of tourism for now.
