The Creation Point of Our Project Water is the “lifeblood” of our economy, our industries, our social activities, our nature, and the health and well-being of our citizens. With 75% of our businesses reliant on water, water crises are among the top 5 global risks in terms of impact. Management and protection of water resources, fresh and saltwater ecosystems, and the water we drink and wash with is therefore one of the cornerstones of environmental protection. Most of our planet is covered with water, but the water we drink and use in agriculture is decreasing day by day. Rivers and lakes are drying up due to climate change and many are becoming polluted. There is currently no water scarcity at the global level, but some places and regions experience chronic water scarcity. Because global water use has increased twice as fast as the population in the last century. Pressures on water resources are increasing in many parts of the world, especially in China, India, Pakistan, and in many countries and regions of the Middle East and Africa. As a result, more than 1 billion people worldwide lack access to fresh water for drinking and sanitation and are therefore exposed to diseases and dehydration. By 2025, two-thirds of the world's population is likely to face water scarcity. Therefore, raising awareness of water issues is a way to create a common understanding of water issues and create shared values about how water should be used and managed. It is necessary to explain the problems and provide information so that people can make their own informed decisions. In this context, our project was implemented to raise awareness of individuals about the relationship between personal water use and natural and social impacts, to contribute to their self-awareness and to ensure that the public is informed about local water resources. By implementing our project, we first tried to raise people's awareness about how water saving should be done and why it is important, what hygienic water use is, and how protecting ecosystems is related to protecting water resources. Our Goals Achieved 1. Contribution was made to raise awareness among individuals to use water more sustainably and reduce waste. 2. Awareness has been raised regarding how and to what extent the amount of water consumed in our homes and in personal use areas should be. 3. Awareness was raised about the concept of water footprint. 4.With the consumption frenzy, people have become aware of how much of a footprint they leave on the water. . Awareness was raised about interactive studies covering issues such as the importance of water resources, effective and sustainable use of water, and the effects of climate change on water. 6. It contributed to the creation of awareness that opportunities should be provided to increase the awareness of young people and the society about water. 7. Attention was drawn to the importance of effective use of social media and digital communication tools. 8. Young people were encouraged to volunteer activities. 9. Contribution was made to strengthening young people's sense of social responsibility. 10. Awareness was raised about the importance, content and benefits of Erasmus+ and Youthpass Certificate. 11. It is emphasized that discriminatory, racist and prejudiced attitudes should be avoided
