Social structures experience a process of change and transformation. In this context, this line continues in Turkey as well. The existence of our society's tradition of civil solidarity should be seen as an important factor in the emergence and development of non-governmental organizations and therefore in the formation of civil society. Based on this, we carried out our project with a young staff in order to increase participatory democracy and strengthen civil society awareness by creating a network especially among NGOs working in the field of youth. By breaking down the prejudice among non-governmental organizations operating in different regions and fields of work, we have developed democratic dialogue between different views, and created a suitable environment to develop solution policies to problems determined from different perspectives on a democratic level. Within the scope of our project, we interactively introduced young people to democratic platforms and enabled them to take part in this field by organizing youth councils, evaluation meetings, regional meetings, democracy assembly platforms and summit events. In this context, while young people performed the function of advocating or producing services for the solution of a social problem, they also contributed to the development of participatory democracy. Because young people are important actors who effectively contribute to the solution of social problems and pave the way for the transition to active citizenship.
