The Journalism for Juniors Project aims to contribute to the solution of global humanitarian problems and the development of a culture of shared life by organising digital journalism workshops. The project adopts the philosophy that "everyone has a story and everyone should be able to tell their story" to create universal human values and raise social awareness by harnessing the power of digital media. The project encourages young people to be not only the object but also the subject of news and to represent those whose voices are not heard. In addition to a basic introduction to journalism, trainings on disinformation, media literacy, written and oral storytelling, mobile video recording, mobile video editing techniques, social media channels and the use of social media channels aim to improve young people's storytelling skills and encourage them to share the stories they want to tell on digital platforms. The workshops, which were organised for students from 5 different cities in 5 different regions of rural Türkiye, including disadvantaged groups, aimed to enable students to realise the opportunity to create change with the power of new media and to gain competence in mobile journalism through practical training. It aims to teach mobile devices, mobile device equipment and social media channels with student participation and practical training. The project, which has been implemented by prioritising the participation of young people living in rural Türkiye in the project and the efficiency of the project, has aimed to promote the profession of journalism as well as to create video projects through teamwork. With this method, it is aimed that young people acquire new skills and put them into practice.
