The project allowed for the creation of a European thematic workgroup of beneficiaries (trainers, mentors, youth workers, and sports experts) focused on reactivating traditional sports and outdoor games within today’s youth work and educational world. It encouraged the formation of a new European network to leverage these values for organizations active in the fields of sport, education, and training.
We applied for this project to modernize and digitalize traditional sports and outdoor games, making them engaging for youth and enhancing their soft skills. Our goals were to develop new learning methods, create a unified sports practice model, share good practices, and increase awareness of traditional games. We aimed to build an accessible platform for broad participation and integrate these traditions into contemporary youth work, addressing broader needs to create an effective European strategy for their revival and education.
