The mobilities are supposed to make the participants aware of and reflect on their own actions and the working methods and approaches of the host organisations. They get the opportunity to openly address differences and engage in a high-quality and constructive exchange. This process not only promotes the development of professional and personal skills, but also increases understanding of the international community and solidarity.
The ‘HABIT goes Europe 2.0’ project offered professionals, managers and trainees working in the care of people with disabilities the opportunity to get to know organisations in the EU that pursue similar goals to HABIT and have a comparable target group. As part of job shadowing and short-term mobilities, the participants gained valuable insights, reflected on their own work and gathered numerous new impressions.
