Objectives

In the 2023 project year, a total of 40 mobilites were carried out at CAMPUS 02 University of Applied Sciences, so we are satisfied with the implementation of the 2023 contract year. Originally, we were provided with EUR 95,490.40 in Erasmus+ funding. However, in the course of the project, we realised that we would not be able to use this budget in full, so we reduced the amount provided to EUR 76,635.00 in the second interim report. We were able to use 98% of this amount. In view of the fact that 80% of our students are studying part-time and therefore find it difficult to spend a whole semester abroad, we consider it particularly positive in this contract year that the range of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) is growing and that interest in BIPs is also increasing among our students. Our lecturers are also keen to take up the offer from our partner universities to participate in BIPs and help shape them. Our goal is therefore to promote BIPs more strongly alongside the traditional forms of mobility (semesters and internships abroad) and thus enable as many students as possible to spend time abroad. In the 2023 project year, a total of 23 students participated in mobility programmes, 5 of whom took part in a BIP. In general, it can be said that student mobility within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme is an essential component of CAMPUS 02 University of Applied Sciences' internationalisation strategy and activities. Staff mobility also plays a crucial role in our internationalisation strategy. The opportunity to invite lecturers from companies through STA grants is a valuable contribution to ‘internationalisation at home’. Alongside CEEPUS cooperation, the Erasmus+ network is the most important basis for our institution's European R&D project and mobility activities. In April 2025, we hosted the ‘International Days’ at our institution. Some of the invited international guests/experts were financed with Erasmus+ funds, which means that the Erasmus+ programme also contributes significantly to the further development of internationalisation activities in this respect.
