Objectives

The internationalisation strategy of the Carinthian University of Teacher Education (PHK) is based on the mission statement: ‘We live linguistic and cultural diversity - we cooperate and network regionally and internationally.’ This mission statement is effectively supported by active participation in the Erasmus+ KA131 programme. The KA131 programme promotes the mobility of students, teaching and administrative staff and contributes significantly to establishing and deepening international cooperation with universities within and outside Europe. At the same time, PHK employees were given the opportunity to further develop their professional, linguistic and social skills by gaining experience abroad. Following the pandemic-related decline in mobility figures and the reorganisation of the International Office, particular attention was paid to the goal of significantly increasing the number of mobilities - both in the area of teaching and continuing education (STA/STT). This goal has been successfully achieved, as the current figures show: A total of 25 mobilities - including two zero-grant mobilities - were realised.
