We aimed to strengthen the role of Erasmus+ as a key element of our institution’s internationalisation strategy. Our primary goal was to enhance the future employability of our students by promoting study exchanges, traineeships abroad, staff mobility as well as short term, mobility formates. At the same time, we worked to identify and reduce remaining obstacles to participation and placed strong emphasis on offering high-quality services to students, staff, and partner institutions. While we had established hybrid formats after Covid, in 2023 we returned to predominantly in-person information sessions, as these allow us to reach a wider group of students. We observed that students are far more engaged in this format, ask more questions, and benefit from the direct interaction. We continued to address and and fine tune requirements with regards to digitalization of the project. Additionally, we gained valuable experience with the new short-term mobility formats, preparing the ground for their broader implementation. These formats are particularly important for our high proportion of part-time students, as they open up new and more flexible opportunities for international mobility. We are proud to have successfully hosted the first Blended Intensive Programme at our City Campus within this project.
