The implementation of the KA 131 Call 2023 project played a central role in achieving the (strategic) internationalisation goals of the University of Applied Sciences (UAS) BFI Vienna (https://www.fh-vie.ac.at/uploads/Internationalisierungsstrategie-2019_Juni.pdf). The development processes for the university-wide internationalisation strategy were completed before the project began. This allowed the project activities to directly align with the implementation of strategic measures. The principles of the Erasmus+ programme have already been interlinked with the strategic goals of the UAS in previous calls for proposals. This means that international activities are integrated holistically and in an all-encompassing and quality-oriented approach. The Erasmus+ programme countries are defined as geographical focus regions based on course-specific content. The goal of enabling as many graduates and employees of the (UAS) BFI Vienna as possible to experience mobility is supported by the strategic structure of the UAS. The inclusion of international perspectives in teaching, research and administration is intended to increase quality and promote innovation.
