The project was implemented to perform international student and staff mobility at Technische Universität Wien (TU Wien, TUW) and thus contributing to the cornerstones of TU Wien`s internationalisation strategy: Promoting international exchanges of students, junior scientists and professors with excellent universities worldwide, strengthening an attractive, intercultural study and research environment at TUW and improving international visibility and marketing abroad. Student and staff mobility is an essential tool for promoting an open society characterized by diversity and mutual trust. An exchange stay is a basic prerequisite for this. Those who do not go on exchange should acquire intercultural experience through internationalization at home (for example through working together with Erasmus+ students in class, become a member of the ESN Buddynetwork). With the implementation of this project we primarily wanted to serve this purpose.
