Objectives

At FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, one of the central tasks defined in its mission statement is the generation and transfer of knowledge and competencies at an academic level. In this way, FHV contributes to the economic and social development of the federal state of Vorarlberg and its neighbouring regions, helping to ensure long-term progress and prosperity. FHV's internationalisation strategy directly supports this mission by systematically fostering international alliances and exchange in teaching and learning. The aim is to provide an excellent education that aligns with international standards, such as the full implementation of the Bologna process, and equips students with essential qualifications for their careers and lives in an increasingly globalized and diverse world. Through international experiences, both students and staff gain intercultural competencies, strengthen their understanding of different cultures and working practices, and improve their foreign language skills. These abilities not only enrich personal and professional development but also provide future graduates with a strong foundation that benefits employers and, ultimately, the wider region. Erasmus+ projects such as this one are the perfect tool to provide support and guidance to students while at the same time evaluate processes and bring policies forward in line with the priorities championed by the Erasmus+ programme.
