Universität Klagenfurt (UNI-KLU) has been actively taking part in the Erasmus+ programme (Key Action 131, formerly 103) since 1995. The Erasmus+ Programme has been a key pillar of UNI-KLU’s commitment to fulfil its legal obligations regarding development and education through science, international exchange and dialogue, an internationally oriented education offer, the best possible conditions for all of its members to gain qualified international study or professional experience, and a campus created as a space for exchange and individual and collective development, where plurality, diversity and inclusion can be nurtured and actively experienced. By implementing the project, UNI-KLU endeavored to provide high-quality mobility experiences to as many of its members as possible, including in particular representatives of groups currently underrepresented in mobility, strengthen ties with its partner institutions and support sustainable growth, social cohesion, drive for innovation, as well as an even stronger “European identity” and active citizenship in Europe and beyond.
