With the implementation of this project, we aimed to strategically advance the internationalisation strategy of IMC Krems and further strengthen our role as an internationally oriented university. Key objectives were to increase both the quality and quantity of mobilities after the pandemic and to expand sustainable partnerships with higher education institutions in Erasmus+ programme countries and beyond (international mobility). At the same time, we sought to integrate the four priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme into our activities: equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion through targeted support for underrepresented groups and alternative mobility formats; digitalisation through the expansion of digital services (e.g., Erasmus Without Paper, blended mobilities); sustainability by promoting resource-efficient mobility and embedding Green Erasmus in both teaching and administration; and finally, global engagement by enabling our students and staff to gain international experience, embody European values, and act as responsible global citizens. In doing so, we contribute to the implementation of our vision “International. Innovative. IMC Krems” and strengthen the university’s attractiveness and international visibility.
