The University College´s mission is to educate teachers for both primary and secondary level. The situation in Austrian schools is quite challenging: many children from many nationalities and cultures immerse into the system not only in urban regions but also across the countryside. This and the unique sponsorship of the university college - all Christian denominations and the "Freikirchen" as donors, in addition contracts with all other religions that are officially recognized - gives us a certain mission to make people aware of and competent in intercultural and interreligious encounters. This goes along with excellent methodological skills in all subjects that are on stake. Erasmus+ is supposed to support this goal by connecting students and staff with partners of other nations to widen the perspectives, learn to get views from different angles and bring back home additional expertise that helps to ammeliorate the individual competence of students for the better of the whole Austrian education system. In addition to this the university college aimed to address more of those possible students who cannot afford a whole semester abroad because they have to work aside doing their studies. Following the horizontal principles, the university college also aimed to support the green deal through supporting green travel and also through supporting digital exchange. To support the Participation in democratic life, the university college served as partner in blended intensive programmes of whiche especially one directly addressed basic democratic values of children at primary school age.
