The Erasmus+ project was coordinated by Verein CUBIC as Lead Quality Label Holder and implemented during the 2023–2025 funding period. A total of 15 activities were carried out in five countries, including youth exchanges, trainings for youth workers, job shadowings, preparatory visits, and transnational networking meetings. The overarching goal of the project was to create new development opportunities for young people – especially those with fewer opportunities – through creative and inclusive learning formats. European cohesion, intercultural exchange and the strengthening of individual and social competences were central priorities. All activities were jointly planned with partner organisations and accompanied by qualified educational professionals. Thematically, the project covered a broad range: improvisational theatre, media work (e.g. podcasts, film production, AI-based workshops), environmental education (climate change, foraging, green practices), as well as topics related to inclusion, social empowerment and cultural diversity. All formats were intentionally designed to be low-threshold in order to enable broad and inclusive participation. More than 60 participants were young people with fewer opportunities. They faced various types of disadvantage – including health-related, socioeconomic or geographic challenges. Additional preparatory, supportive and accompanying measures were put in place to ensure their active participation. The professional development of youth workers was also actively supported – through international job shadowings, training formats and exchanges with other organisations within the Erasmus+ framework. As a result, concrete follow-up projects emerged, such as joint applications in the areas of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and vocational education and training (VET). The project had an impact on multiple levels: it strengthened the personal development of young people, supported the acquisition of social, intercultural and digital competences, contributed to the opening of local structures and built sustainable European partnerships. The activities were perceived by participants, partners and professionals as meaningful, practice-oriented and sustainable.
