The Golden Wheel Project aimed to address the significant challenges faced by young people with physical disabilities, particularly their limited access to the job market and the opportunity to express personal talents within an inclusive society. The objectives were developed to ensure the empowerment and better integration of this target group into the community through creative and practical skills development. The key objectives of the Golden Wheel Project were: 1. Establishing New Skills and Knowledge: Through non-formal and informal learning methods, such as peer-to-peer learning, creative workshops, and both group and individual work, the project aimed to equip participants with new skills tailored to their needs, abilities, and interests. 2. Increasing Employability Potential: By introducing easily applicable, practical, and creative methods to develop personal talents, the project aimed to enhance the employability of the target group. The focus was on practical skills that could directly translate into job opportunities. 3. Initiating Community Engagement and Securing Topic Visibility: Organizing a Final Exhibit open to the wider population aimed to increase community engagement and awareness. Additionally, the establishment of a permanent, inclusive, and accessible 'Golden Wheel Class' within MOVEO in Vienna would serve as a workshop for interested individuals to continue learning and developing their skills. The project activities were carefully chosen to reflect these objectives, ensuring that they met the identified needs of the target group. By combining creative industry techniques with applied arts, the project provided participants with the tools to enhance their employability and independence.
