Background

Our original motivation for the Embodied Resilience Collective project was to pool the expertise and experience of our three organizations to develop an innovative approach to nervous system-based resilience training and disseminate it through multipliers in different societal contexts. The Embodied Resilience (ER) approach combines evidence-based approaches such as mindfulness, embodiment, conflict transformation and community building to effectively support people in dealing with the complex challenges of our time and to strengthen resilience on both an individual and collective level. The needs of the target group, which we had identified in advance and which we addressed with our activities, were: > Effective tools for coping with stress in everyday life, for effectively resolving interpersonal conflicts and for dealing with emotionally challenging situations. > Inspiration and concrete tools to support other people in dealing with the crises of our time. > Training courses that are easily compatible with everyday working life.
