Objectives

As part of its institutional strategy, HELMo aims to strengthen and further structure its international collaboration policy along the following strategic lines: 1. Enhancing institutional dynamics in transnational cooperation HELMo seeks to consolidate and expand its international partnerships in alignment with the institution’s overall strategy and based on rigorous pedagogical quality criteria. This ambition involves intensifying our engagement in the networks to which we actively contribute (Businet, Comenius Association, FESET, NIBS, ESWA, etc.), with the objective of facilitating and diversifying exchanges, developing bi- or joint degree programmes, and promoting collaborative research and/or continuing education projects. These initiatives are designed to foster continuous improvement in our teaching practices and governance. 2. Expanding student and staff mobility HELMo continues to promote outgoing and incoming mobility for students and staff members. These mobility programmes enable the exchange of best practices among peers, notably through reciprocal teaching assignments and/or professional field-based training. 3. Supporting students with specific needs Particular attention is given to the inclusion of students with specific needs, through close cooperation between HELMo’s inclusion and International Relations services and those of partner institutions. 4. Fostering linguistic and intercultural competencies HELMo encourages the development of linguistic and intercultural skills both through international mobility and via the “Internationalisation at Home” initiative, which offers students an international experience within their home institution, by e.g. integrating the ESN HELMo. 5.Developing projects linked to initial training Finally, HELMo is committed to creating projects integrated into initial training programmes, notably through Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP), which promote pedagogical innovation and European cooperation.
