The Erasmus+ project has enabled UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels to organize 178 mobility programs for students and staff members. Thanks to its central location in Europe and its linguistic and cultural diversity, the campus strives to be highly attractive and to have a strong international presence. In addition, thanks to the bilingual and trilingual programs offered, students are introduced to multilingualism from the first year of their bachelor's degree. Furthermore, Brussels' demographics offer a linguistically and culturally diverse population, which attracts a very heterogeneous and diverse audience and sensitizes students to multiculturalism from the very beginning of their academic career. Our campus allows students in all of our bachelor's programs to study for a semester at a partner institution within the European Union in order to develop and realize their European citizenship, which few are aware of. In addition, students in our translation and interpretation faculty are required to participate in an exchange program during their third year of their bachelor's degree. Students from other faculties participate in exchange exchange program during their third year of their bachelor's degree. Students from other faculties participate in an exchange program on a voluntary basis during their second (for law students) or third year of their bachelor's degree. These partnerships and exchanges offer students and staff a wide range of opportunities. Beyond the most obvious goal of learning or improving their command of a foreign language, these opportunities often enable them to stimulate their understanding of other cultures and develop international networks, all of which contributes to increasing the employability of our students as they take their first steps into the job market. Every year, more and more students apply to take part in such an experience. Since September 2023, UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels has become a fully-fledged campus of UCLouvain, which has led to many changes in the priorities of the international relations team and the tools they use. However, mobility management remains centralized. The department is structured around two complementary areas: a strategic area and an operational area. The team consists of five employees: the director of the department and the partnerships and Erasmus+ project manager form the strategic division, while two incoming mobility managers and one outgoing mobility manager make up the operational division.
