By implementing this project, Francisco Ferrer University College aimed to strengthen students’ global citizenship and intercultural awareness, in line with European values of diversity, equality and non-discrimination. The project also sought to improve their employability through stronger links with the professional world, to promote staff mobility, and to accelerate institutional internationalisation within the European Higher Education Area. Although the number of mobilities actually carried out was lower than initially expected, the qualitative impact on participants was significant: returning students reported strengthened linguistic and intercultural skills, some staff integrated innovative teaching practices, and new academic partnerships were initiated. We also identified the main obstacles that limited participation (administrative and financial constraints, language apprehensions) and have already taken corrective measures: improved support and inclusion mechanisms, preparatory workshops on language and culture, and an internal communication plan to raise awareness among more students and staff of mobility opportunities.
